WHICH MONTENEGRO PORTS DUTY FREE FUEL IS AVAILABLE?
Duty free fuel is available in the ports of Tivat and Bar.
WHAT ARE DEPARTURE PROCEDURES AFTER TAKING DUTY FREE FUEL?
The duty free fuel is delivered on departure from Montenegro. Meaning that you must leave Montenegro waters right after fueling operation is completed.
WHAT ARE THE WORKING HOURS OF FUEL STATION IN PORTO MONTENGRO?
Fuel station in Tivat at marina Porto Montenegro is open from 08.00-20.00 during the summer and 08.00-17.00 during the winter.

East dock is 80m long and has two dispensers, and west dock can accommodate yachts up to 180m long.

Gasoline is not available for duty free supply.

Gasoline is available at fueling stations in Herceg Novi, Kumbor, Tivat, Kotor, Budva and Bar.

The maximum size of the boat that can be berthed at Lustica Bay Marina is 35m LOA.
WHAT IS THE BERTHING CAPACITY IN PORTONOVI MARINA?
Berthing capacity is 238 places with max length up to 120m.
CAN WE PERFORM TECHNICAL SERVICE IN PORTO MONTENEGRO THAT REQUIRES CRANE TRUCK ASSISTANCE?
You will be able to do technical service in Porto Montenegro. However, if you are planning to perform some intensive works on the spot, you will be relocated at isolated berth place.
CAN I USE THE TENDER IN PORT OF BAR?
Port of Bar is a commercial port and the use of tenders is prohibited.

Yes, you will be able to berth in Lazure Marina that can accommodate boats up to 30m LOA.
IS THERE A DIVER AVAILABLE IN ALL THE PORTS?
Yes, every port has it´s authorized diver to dive in the waters of the port.
WHAT IS DRAFT LIMIT IN DUKLEY MARINA AT BUDVA?
The draft limit on approach to Budva Marina is 4m.

There is not any marina/port in Ulcinj. Closest berthing option for yachts is Port of Bar and Marina Bar.

HOW WE CAN DISPOSE GARBAGE IN KOTOR?
Smaller quantities can be disposed from 08:00-09:00h and from 16:00-17:00h in the garbage bins on the dock.

The Speed limit in Boka Bay for all vessels is 10 kn. While in Kumborski Tjesnac and Prolaz Verige channels, the speed limit is restricted to not more than 6 kn.
MY YACHT IS 35 METERS LENGHT, HOW MUCH WILL THE VIGNETTE COST?
A 7 days vignette for yachts over 24 meters is 360 €+ length x 1,50 €.
DO WE NEED TO OBTAIN A NAVIGATION PERMIT FOR THE TENDER?
You don’t need navigation permit for tender if it is declared in the vessel insurance.
WHAT DOCUMENTATION DO I NEED FOR USING MY TENDER?
The documents required are: Master´s or Skipper’s license, Tender´s Insurance and Vessel’s Vignette.
CAN WE VISIT KOTOR BY SAILING YACHT WITH EXCESSIVE MAST?
Air power cables (transmission line) are placed in Prolaz Verige strait at 80 m above sea level limiting air draft of vessels heading to Port of Kotor.
HOW MUCH MONEY I CAN BRING INTO COUNTRY DURING BORDER CROSSING?
By Montenegrin law, you should declare sums of money in excess of 10000 EUR per person/traveler.
HOW I CAN DECLARE MONEY BRINGING INTO MONTENEGRO?
During border crossing you can fill form and declare money to Customs Officer with a document which states the origin of the funds.

I’M PLANNING TO VISIT MONTENEGRO, AM I ALLOWED TO ENTER WITH MY EU ID CARD?
Yes, with a valid EU ID you can enter and stay in Montenegro for up to 30 days.
I’M PHILIPPINE NATIONAL CREW MEMBER AND I DON´T HAVE US/SCHENGEN VISA, HOW CAN I ENTER MONTENEGRO?
If you are arriving by boat, you’ll be able to obtain a shore pass on arrival. Perhaps, if you are joining vessel in Montenegro, you must apply for Montenegro visa in embassy or consulate before your trip to our country.
ARE WE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN A NAVIGATION PERMIT FOR THE JET SKI?
You don’t need navigation permit for jet ski if it is declared in the vessel’s insurance.
I HAVE A SPORT GUN ON BOARD, WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED TO DECLARE IT TO THE AUTHORITIES?
You will need the following documentation, Shotgun (owners) certificate and Arm License.
IF I USE THE PILOT SERVICE SEVERAL TIMES CAN I GET A PILOTAGE EXEMPTION?
It might be possible to obtain an exemption from the Harbour Master’s Office if the same Master of the same yacht uses the pilot service at least 5 times for the same route.
DO I NEED TO CALL SOMEBODY BEFORE ENTERING MONTENEGRIAN WATERS?
Yes, you must call VTS on Ch 11, 15 minutes prior entering Montenegro territorial waters.
AT WHAT DISTANCE FROM SHORE WE CAN GLIDE WITH OUR POWER BOAT?
Gliding is allowed at a distance greater than 200 m from the coast and in area where gliding is not prohibited.
WHAT SPEED LIMIT IS FOR DRIVING TENDER IN BOKA KOTORSKA?

There is no customs tax or duty on any ship’s spare parts/goods in transit for foreign flag vessels berthed in Montenegro. However, customs clearance fee and freight forwarding fee will be applicable.
